Project: College Interior Enhancement
Project Overview: FC&A Metal Fabrication was entrusted with a significant role in the enhancement of an organizational building on campus in Kalamazoo, MI. the focal point for social justice leadership on campus. Our involvement included the design, fabrication, and installation of a unique curved light fixture and a suspended fireplace within the building’s lobby.
Design and Conceptualization: In close collaboration with the College, our design team immersed itself in the core principles of social justice leadership. Our goal was to craft elements that harmonize with the organization’s mission. During the conceptualization phase, emphasis was placed on seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetics, ensuring that the curved light fixture and hanging fireplace would serve as both symbolic and practical additions to the interior space.
Fabrication Expertise: FC&A’s skilled craftsmen translated the conceptualized design into reality through precise fabrication. The curved light fixture, with its unique shape, and the hanging fireplace, both demanded a meticulous approach to ensure structural integrity and visual appeal.
Installation: The installation phase was executed with precision, with our experienced team ensuring that both the curved light fixture and the hanging fireplace seamlessly integrated into the organization’s building interior. Outcome: The college now boasts a distinctive and purposeful interior, thanks to the addition of the specially designed curved light fixture and hanging fireplace.
